Most beam moving heads are IP20 — fine for indoor rigs, but they need a rain cover or a roof the moment a show moves outdoors. The B420F is built IP55 from the ground up, so it can sit in an exposed outdoor rig through wind and rain without extra weatherproofing or downtime.
RDM support means your crew doesn't have to climb a truss to check a fixture's status. With bi-directional DMX512/RDM control, you can read lamp hours, monitor fixture status, and push firmware updates remotely — useful for permanent outdoor installations where physical access is limited or costly.
