DMON YPF1400 STORM1400 IP65 Outdoor Moving Head Strobe Light
The Dmon STORM1400 is an IP65-rated outdoor moving head strobe light delivering 1400W of output across 784 RGB and 392 white ultra-bright LEDs, with 14 RGB and 28 white independently controllable zones. With 220° tilt, photoelectric magnetic encoder positioning, and DMX512/RDM/Art-Net control, the STORM1400 is built for high-impact strobe effects in outdoor concert and festival environments.
- 1400W output across 14+28 independently controllable zones — detailed chase and pattern effects beyond a single flash
- Art-Net support alongside DMX512/RDM — integrates with media servers and advanced lighting networks
- Photoelectric magnetic encoder positioning — accurate, repeatable movement outdoors
- IP65 waterproof — reliable operation in outdoor concert and festival conditions
We offer comprehensive after-sales services, including installation guidance and technical support. Our products also come with a specified warranty period to ensure a worry-free experience for our customers.
Function Description
A single-block strobe effect looks flat compared to segmented chase patterns. The STORM1400's 14 RGB and 28 white independently controllable zones let designers run detailed chase and pattern effects across the matrix, not just simple on/off flashes.
Standard positioning motors can drift after repeated outdoor use, especially with temperature swings. The STORM1400 uses a photoelectric magnetic encoder for positioning, keeping the 220° tilt movement accurate even after long-term exposure to the elements.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the STORM1400 truly rated for outdoor use?
Yes. The STORM1400 is IP65-rated, built for direct exposure to rain and outdoor conditions without needing a rain cover.
Can the STORM1400 be controlled by third-party lighting consoles?
Yes. It runs on standard DMX512 protocol with multiple selectable channel modes (8 CH up to 97 CH), and supports bi-directional RDM as well as Art-Net, compatible with a wide range of consoles and media servers.
What does the segmented control let me do?
The 14 RGB zones and 28 white zones can each be controlled independently, allowing detailed chase and pattern effects across the fixture rather than a single uniform strobe flash.
How many units can be linked together?
Power linking supports up to 2 units at 230V or 1 unit at 120V, while DMX signal daisy-chaining supports up to 30 units on the same line.
Do you offer OEM/ODM or custom branding?
Yes. We support OEM/ODM services including custom logo, packaging, and configuration for bulk orders. Contact us for MOQ details.
What's the warranty and how does after-sales support work?
2-year warranty with 3-business-day response commitment. Parts are supplied at cost price, and we guarantee parts availability for 5 years after any model is discontinued.
