Function Description

A static front lens limits pixel effects to a flat visual plane. The LM3740P's rotating front lens adds a spinning layer to its vortex and kaleidoscope programs, producing texture that a fixed-lens fixture can't replicate.

Complex pixel-mapped shows need more channel resolution than a basic DMX mode provides. The LM3740P's Advanced mode offers up to 170 channels, giving designers finer control over individual pixels and effects than the 22 CH Basic mode allows.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the rotating front lens do?

The rotating big-eye front lens physically spins, adding a moving visual layer to the fixture's vortex and kaleidoscope effects — giving these patterns extra texture beyond what a static-lens fixture can produce.

Can the LM3740P be controlled by third-party lighting consoles?

Yes. It runs on standard DMX512 protocol with multiple selectable channel modes (22 CH up to 170 CH in Advanced mode), and supports bi-directional RDM, compatible with any DMX/RDM-compliant console on the market.

Does the LED source need to be replaced like a traditional lamp?

No. The LM3740P uses 37×40W RGBW LEDs rated for ≥30,000 hours, significantly longer than a traditional discharge lamp, with no scheduled lamp replacement required under normal use.

What does the IP22 rating mean for this fixture?

IP22 offers protection against dripping water and larger foreign objects, suitable for indoor use in venues with some exposure to moisture, but the fixture is not rated for outdoor or heavily exposed conditions.

Do you offer OEM/ODM or custom branding?

Yes. We support OEM/ODM services including custom logo, packaging, and configuration for bulk orders. Contact us for MOQ details.

What's the warranty and how does after-sales support work?

2-year warranty with 3-business-day response commitment. Parts are supplied at cost price, and we guarantee parts availability for 5 years after any model is discontinued.
