PCBs are prepared and tested before final assembly. Electrical problems are easier to find and correct at this stage than after the fixture is complete.
The housing, electronics, motors and other parts are assembled for each model. Connections and key parts are checked as the fixture moves through production.
The light source, lenses and other optical parts are set for the fixture. Focus, beam shape and related effects are checked based on the model.
Fixtures run for 48 hours before final testing. This helps reveal stability or cooling problems that may not appear during a short power-on test.
Movement, dimming, color, effects and DMX control are tested based on the fixture. A light that turns on still needs to work correctly in actual control.
Before packing, the fixture is checked again for appearance, connectors, labels, logos and other order details.
Finished fixtures are packed in cartons or flight cases based on the order. Product and shipping documents are then prepared for dispatch.
