Function Description
Large venues push moving heads to their limits — dim output means the beam loses definition before it reaches the back rows. The D550LL's Philips MSD Platinum 18R light source is built for exactly that gap, holding a sharp, visible beam across arenas and large halls where lower-output fixtures start to fade.
Touring rigs lose power more often than anyone likes to admit. When that happens, most moving heads need to be manually recalibrated before the show can go on. The D550LL's auto-reposition function skips that step entirely — three-phase motors bring it back to its exact position on their own, so your crew can focus on the show instead of resetting fixtures.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the D550LL be controlled by third-party lighting consoles?
Yes. It runs on standard DMX512 protocol with 18 channels, compatible with any DMX-compliant console on the market.
Is the lamp field-replaceable?
Yes. The Philips MSD Platinum 18R lamp can be replaced on-site without returning the fixture. Replacement lamps are available from DMON at cost price under our after-sales policy.
Can this fixture be used outdoors?
The standard unit is rated IP20 (indoor use). An optional rain cover upgrades protection to IP44 for semi-outdoor applications such as covered stages or canopy installations. It is not rated for fully exposed outdoor use.
Do you offer OEM/ODM or custom branding?
Yes. We support OEM/ODM services including custom logo, packaging, and configuration for bulk orders. Contact us for MOQ details.
What happens if the fixture loses signal or power during a show?
The D550LL automatically enters sleep mode on DMX signal loss to protect the lamp. Pan/tilt uses 16-bit auto-repositioning with three-phase motors, so the fixture recovers accurate positioning after a power interruption without manual recalibration.
What's the warranty and how does after-sales support work?
2-year warranty with 3-business-day response commitment. Parts are supplied at cost price, and we guarantee parts availability for 5 years after any model is discontinued.
