DMON LM740P 7×40W RGBW Rotating Big-Eye Beam & Wash Moving Head

The Dmon LM740P is a compact 7×40W RGBW rotating big-eye beam & wash moving head light with individual pixel control, a seamless rotating front lens array, and built-in effects including vortex, kaleidoscope, beam, and wash modes. At just 10 kg with flicker-free dimming and DMX512/RDM control, the LM740P delivers pixel-mapped visual effects with the added texture of a rotating lens front.

  • Rotating front lens array — adds a spinning "big-eye" visual layer beyond standard pixel effects
  • Individual RGBW pixel control — built-in vortex, kaleidoscope, and chase effects without external programming
  • Flicker-free dimming (1.2–25 kHz) — camera-ready output for broadcast and video work
  • Lightweight at 10 kg — easy to rig and transport compared to full-size beam/wash fixtures

Function Description

Standard pixel fixtures show effects through a static front lens. The LM740P adds a rotating front lens array on top of its 7 individually controlled RGBW pixels, giving vortex and kaleidoscope effects an extra spinning layer that a fixed-lens fixture can't produce.

Filming under LED fixtures often means dealing with visible flicker on camera. The LM740P's dimming runs at 1.2–25 kHz, keeping output flicker-free across a wide dimming range — so the fixture stays camera-ready without needing to match frame rates manually.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the LM740P be controlled by third-party lighting consoles?

Yes. It runs on standard DMX512 protocol with selectable 23 CH, 35 CH, or 51 CH modes, and supports bi-directional RDM, compatible with any DMX/RDM-compliant console on the market.

What does the rotating front lens do?

The seamless front lens array physically rotates, adding a spinning visual layer to the fixture's pixel effects — giving vortex and kaleidoscope patterns extra texture beyond what a static-lens fixture can produce.

Does the LED source need to be replaced like a traditional lamp?

No. The LM740P uses 7×40W RGBW LEDs rated for approximately 30,000 hours, significantly longer than a traditional discharge lamp, with no scheduled lamp replacement required under normal use.

Can this fixture be used outdoors?

The standard unit is rated IP20 (indoor use). An optional rain cover upgrades protection to IP44 for semi-outdoor applications such as covered stages or canopy installations. It is not rated for fully exposed outdoor use.

Do you offer OEM/ODM or custom branding?

Yes. We support OEM/ODM services including custom logo, packaging, and configuration for bulk orders. Contact us for MOQ details.

What's the warranty and how does after-sales support work?

2-year warranty with 3-business-day response commitment. Parts are supplied at cost price, and we guarantee parts availability for 5 years after any model is discontinued.
